Shah Rukh Khan’s fan will be more than happy to see him in another comedy movie called “Billu Barber”. Produced by SRK’s wife, Gauri Khan under his home production banner Red Chillies Entertainment, “Billu Barber” will be the first movie of Shah Rukh in the New Year 2009. Scheduled to be released on February 13th, 2009, “Billu Barber” has been distributed all over by Eros Entertainment.
Directed by Priyadarshan, “Billu Barber” is for the first time bringing SRK and Priyadarshan together and that too in a typical Priyadarshan comic flick, so it is going to be something really worth watching. Pritam gets the whole credit for composing the catchy music for this movie and its song “Marjaani” is already topping the song chartbusters.
“Billu Barber” is a movie about Billu a village barber, played by Irfaan Khan who is suffering loses in his business and one day the village is visited by a film unit for a movie shoot starring Shah Rukh, a superstar. Billu claims to be Shah Rukh’s old friend and becomes high in status among the villagers at once with this revelation. Watch out how he fears from inside that the superstar might have forgotten him.
Watch out for guest appearances of Kareena Kapoor, Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra in three different songs of “Billu Barber”. Kareena is already seen dancing in “Marjaani” with SRK, you will also see Deepika shaking a leg with SRK in the song “Love Mera Hit Hit” and Priyanka will match Shah Rukh’s dancing steps in “You Get Me Rockin Reeling”. None of the three heroines have charged a penny for their guest appearance in this upcoming Bollywood movie.
